QUIENES SOMOS

La Fundación Corazón Caribe es una Organización sin ánimo de lucro de nacionalidad Colombiana, creada en el año 2001. Esta conformada por un grupo de amigos profesionales, ejecutivos y empresarios con un sueño en común:”Dar felicidad al corazón de un niño”

Trabajamos bajo el enfoque de que los niños son una esperanza de amor,  proponemos  el respeto hacia sí mismo y hacia los demás como principal valor para vivir en sociedad, creemos en la importancia de la familia como núcleo central de la sociedad y sabemos que el cambio que requiere el país solo es posible a través de la educación a las nuevas generaciones.

Con el apoyo de personas y organizaciones solidarias trabajamos  por construir un nuevo futuro para los niños necesitados del Atlántico, preparándolos para ser personas adaptadas a la sociedad y con una actitud optimista hacia la vida.

La Fundación cuenta  con la siguiente estructura administrativa:

• La  Junta Directiva es el máximo órgano de la Corazón Caribe, está conformada por 8 socios fundadores y se encarga de definir  las líneas de acción de la fundación, su modo de operación,  aprueba la realización de nuevos proyectos y participa activamente en la ejecución de las diferentes actividades y eventos que se realizan.

• El Revisor fiscal verifica el buen manejo de los recursos y certifica las donaciones recibidas.

• El Director ejecutivo de la Fundación es el presidente de la Junta directiva, el representante legal de la organización y  lidera la ejecución de la propuesta  social efectuada por la Fundación.

• El Tesorero es un miembro de junta que se encarga de la revisión del flujo de caja de la Fundación y el giro de los recursos.

• El Contador  genera informes mensuales del estado de la fundación a los socios, entidades y personas que lo requieran.

• Auxiliar Contable  está a cargo del registro contable de todos los movimientos que se realicen.

• El Subdirector Comercial se encarga de las actividades de mercadeo, promoción y comercialización de la Fundación, propone nuevos proyectos y estrategias, reporta periódicamente al director ejecutivo y a la Junta directiva su labor con el objeto de efectuar ajustes y correctivos que permitan el cumplimiento de los objetivos establecidos por la organización.

• El Coordinador Administrativo se encarga de velar por la correcta ejecución y de los diferentes programas que se le ofrecen a los niños y sus familias y elabora  informes de gestión administrativa para los socios, personas o entidades que lo requieran. El coordinador administrativo tiene a su cargo un equipo interdisciplinario de profesionales  el cual está conformado por una psicóloga, una trabajadora Social, una nutricionista y tres docentes de refuerzo educativo.

• La Psicóloga se encarga de la atención y desarrollo psicológico del menor y colabora en la ejecución de las actividades recreativas que se realizan a la comunidad a lo largo del año.

• La Trabajadora Social tiene a su cargo el seguimiento educativo de los menores y las visitas a la comunidad.

• La nutricionista se encarga del control de peso y talla de los niños.

• Los docentes de refuerzo educativo son los encargados de ayudar a los menores en el adelanto de sus compromisos educativos. Actualmente contamos con tres (3) docentes para atender a los 350 niños beneficiados.

Adicionalmente la Fundación cuenta con una persona  que apoya con las actividades que se desarrollan en  Malambo y  un manipulador de alimentos encargado de recibir los alimentos donados y  dirigir a las madres de los niños beneficiados por la Fundación para la preparación de los desayunos y almuerzos diarios.

Para el desarrollo de eventos contamos con personas voluntarias que donan su tiempo  a esta causa.

Welcome to our Corazón Caribe

Corazón Caribe is a Colombian non for profit organization, created in the year 2001.  It is made of a group of friends, professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs with a common dream: “Give happiness to the heart of  a child”

Working under the conviction that the children are the hope, we promote self-respect and respect towards others as the main value to live in society. We believe the importance of the family as the main core of society and we know that the change that the country needs is only possible through the education of the new generations.

With the support of people and organizations we work to build a new future for the needed children in the Atlántico, preparing them to be people well adapted to society and with an optimistic view of life.

The Foundation has the following administrative structure:

• Directive, is the maximum organ of Corazón Caribe, it is made up of 8 founding   partners and it is in charge of defining the lines of action for the foundation. Its operative way approves new projects and participates actively in the execution of the different activities and events that take place.

• The fiscal reviser, verifies the good management of the resources and certifies the donations that have been received.

• The executive director is the president of the Directives, the legal representative of the organization and leads the execution of the work of the organization.

• The treasurer is a member of the directive and is in charge of the revision of the money flow and the acquisitions of the resources.

• The accountant generates monthly reports about the situation of the Foundation to its associates, different entities and people who require it.

• The accountant auxiliary is in charge of the registry of all the movements done.

• The Commercial Sub director is in charge of the marketing activities, promotion, commercialization of the Foundation, he/she proposes new projects and strategies, reports periodically to the executive director and the directive his/her work with the objective of making adjustments and corrections that allow for the achievement of the established goals by the organization.

• Administrative coordinator is in charged of watching for the correct execution of the different programs that are offered to the children and their families. The coordinator also makes reports for the associates, people or companies that require them. The coordinator has under her management an interdisciplinary team of professionals, which is made up by a psychologist, a social worker, nutritionists and three teachers for reinforcement.

• The psychologist is in charge of the attention and psychological development of the child and the collaboration in the execution of the recreation activities that are done with the community throughout the year.

• The Social worker does a follow up in the educative process of the kids and visits to the community.

• The nutritionist is in charge of the control of weight and height of the children according to their age.

• The teachers of school reinforcement are in charge of helping the children with their schoolwork. Currently we count with three teachers to help 350 benefited children.

In addition the Foundation counts with a person that helps with the activities that take place in Malambo, and a food handler in charge of receiving the food donated and direct the mothers of the kids to prepare the daily breakfast and lunch for the kids.

For the development of event we count with volunteers who donate their time to this cause.
